I had installed Warcraft III after seeing numerous reviews online that it worked fine on Intel macs, but every time I started it, it promptly crashed. Console.app, however, notified me that it was trying to load LiveType.component, and failing. With some simple debugging, Warcraft III works now, after following these simple steps: • Navigate to /Library/Quicktime/ • Create an Archive of LiveType.component • Delete LiveType.component • Empty your trash That's it; now you can enjoy Warcraft III.
